In April 1977, ALCS was incorporated as a company and officially launched its mission to defend, and campaign for, the rights of authors. Since its small-scale beginnings four decades ago, ALCS has grown into a vibrant membership organisation with more than 90,000 writer members across the globe, for whom it has now collected almost half a billion pounds in secondary royalties.
A happy and notable milestone, ALCS’ plans for the 40th year included planned activities plus two events to celebrate their story and achievements with the writing and wider community.
Following on from developing their comprehensive identity and branding, we were invited to create all notable deliverables for the anniversary year. The extent of our executed work comprised design and development of a campaign identity, review book, event products as well as infographics, data visualisation, art direction and photography, project management, print sourcing and management.
